Our SOAR intensives deliver concentrated support over a short duration to drive rapid, measurable results.
SOAR is an individualized trauma-informed, intensive program wherein Yichien provides one child with ten hours of treatment over four consecutive days. The program can then be repeated after a break of one or more weeks, contingent upon need and availability.
SOAR candidates are children with:
• Swallowing & feeding difficulties due to complex medical conditions, who may require support of a feeding tube
• Difficulty chewing and accepting advanced textures and a variety of foods
• Minimally verbal & significantly delayed speech-language development
• Oral-motor dysfunction such as drooling or poor speech clarity
A MiniSOAR is an individualized trauma-informed, intensive program wherein Yichien provides one child with four hours of treatment over two days in the same week. The days may or may not be consecutive. The program can then be repeated after a break of one or more months, contingent upon need and availability.
